This celebratory compilation highlights the prestige and emotional resonance of the original Halo music, while introducing new depth and grandeur through modern orchestral arrangements. From the haunting monk-choral opening of the Halo theme to the adrenaline-pumping strings of Halo 3’s “One Final Effort,” every track has been meticulously reimagined to honor the spirit of the originals. Listeners will journey through over two decades of Halo’s musical legacy. The album’s repertoire ranges from Halo: Combat Evolved (2001) and Halo 2’s choral hymns, through Halo 3’s heroic anthems (including the poignant “Never Forget”), up to the stirring motifs of Halo 5: Guardians and Halo Infinite. The collection even features a suite from the recent Halo television series, marking the first time music from the games and TV show have been presented side by side on one album. Each piece retains the heart of the original Halo scores – which critics have praised as “one of the better videogame oriented musical experiences out there” while London’s top orchestral talent imbue them with new cinematic richness.

“The music of Halo is nothing short of legendary, and we wanted to honor that legacy with a grand new recording,” said Antonin Roux, the album’s orchestrator and arranger. “From Martin O’Donnell and Michael Salvatori’s powerful Gregorian chants to the modern themes of Halo Infinite, every piece carries deep emotional weight. Our goal was to capture that epic scale and emotional depth in a way that makes longtime fans relive the magic and invites new listeners into Halo’s musical universe.”

The album will be available globally on May 2, 2025, in digital formats and a vinyl release to follow later this year on the Diggers Factory label, released by Silva Screen Records.
