The heat is back on – The Night Manager returns. Eight years after its explosive finale captivated over 10 million viewers in the UK alone, Tom Hiddleston reprises his role as former British intelligence operative, Jonathan Pine.

Based on the characters created by John le Carré, The Night Manager Season 2 follows MI6 officer Pine as he races to expose a conspiracy designed to destabilise a nation. And with betrayal at every turn, he must decide whose trust he needs to earn and how far he’s willing to go before it’s too late.

Jonathan Pine thought he’d buried his past. Now living as Alex Goodwin – a low-level MI6 officer running a quiet surveillance unit in London – his life is comfortingly uneventful. Then one night a chance sighting of an old Roper mercenary prompts a call to action and leads Pine to a violent encounter with a new player: Colombian businessman Teddy Dos Santos.

On this perilous new journey, Pine meets Roxana Bolaños, a businesswoman who reluctantly helps him infiltrate Teddy’s Colombian arms operation. Once in Colombia, Pine is plunged deep into a deadly plot involving arms and training of a guerrilla army.

As allegiances splinter, Pine races to expose a conspiracy designed to destabilise a nation. And with betrayal at every turn, he must decide whose trust he needs to earn and how far he’s willing to go before it’s too late…

The Night Manager series two is created and executive produced by David Farr, based on the characters created by John le Carré. Directed in full by BAFTA winner Georgi Banks-Davies, the upcoming series expands the story beyond the source material of the titular novel for the first time.

Federico Jusid is an Argentine pianist and composer who currently lives and works between Madrid and Los Angeles. Jusid combines his activity for concert halls, with the composition for movies and tv shows soundtracks.

Jusid’s compositions have accompanied and enriched a wide array of unique characters and stories. From innovative documentaries designed for new streaming platforms to classic feature films with profound narratives, the works of the Argentine composer stand out for their bold yet evocative nature.

Among his most recent scores for feature films, documentaries and television series is the soundtrack for the Disney+ series A Thousand Blows, written by Steven Knight, the creator of the globally acclaimed Peaky Blinders. He also composed the original score for A Gentleman in Moscow, the latest series starring Ewan McGregor and directed by Sam Miller. Another recent highlight is the score for the Argentine production The Eternaut, the new Netflix series based on Héctor Germán Oesterheld’s graphic novel. The soundtrack for The Eternaut has been nominated for the 2025 Latin Grammy in the category of Best Music for Visual Media.

One of his most distinguished works is the soundtrack for The Secret in Their Eyes, directed by Juan José Campanella, which won the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. For this composition, Jusid was nominated for the Goya Award for Best Original Score by the Spanish Academy of Cinematic Arts.

In 2022, Federico composed the soundtrack for The English (Amazon/BBC), a critically acclaimed Western starring Emily Blunt and Chaske Spencer. This earned him a nomination from the International Film Music Critics Association (IFMCA) for Best Original Score (TV Series), as well as a 2023 BAFTA nomination for Best Original Music: Fiction. Additionally, Indiewire named The English soundtrack the best of 2022.
